cqc rated outstanding catchment area appointments prescriptions to see if you live within the practice catchment area click on the following link. you will be asked to enter your postcode and we will check to see if you are within our boundary. https://www.primarycare.nhs.uk/publicfn/catchment.aspx?oc=a87005&h=400&w=600&if=0 how to see your doctor all surgery times are by appointment. please telephone or visit the surgery during opening hours for an appointment. appointments can be booked usually up to three months in advance. alternatively you can register for our on-line appointment service which is available via a link on the homepage. simply call into surgery with some id and we will get you set up. a free iphone & ipad app is also available via the apple app store. this is compatible with ios operating systems only. search the store under systmonline to download the app once you have registered for the service. acute appointments are released on the day of surgery. for a same day appointment please ring at 8.30am when these appointments are released by the gp’s and nurses. we have seven telephone lines available but these do get very busy at peak times. for routine appointments please try to ring after 10am when lines are not so busy. when attending for your appointment please ensure you arrive promptly. if you are late for an appointment it will be at the discretion of the doctor or nurse whether you are seen. please note: one appointment is for one person. when the surgery is closed if you ring the health centre on 0191 253 1113 you will be advised of the out of hours/on call arrangements. the out of hours service is contactable by telephoning 111. repeat if you need repeat prescriptions you may well have been placed on the practice repeat prescription regime. in which case you will have been given a prescription which will have had information attached to it about your current status ie. how many left. use that printout to re-order your medication by ticking the items required. hand it in to reception or place it in the repeat prescriptions letter box provided. you can also post your request to us with a sae for its return if you do not intend to pick it up in person. alternatively you can register for our online prescription service. simply call into surgery (with some id) and you will be given a user name and password to enable you to access online services.a free iphone & ipad app is also available via the apple app store. this is compatible with ios operating systems only. search the store under systmonline to download the app once you have registered for the service. due to confidentiality and accuracy reasons we cannot accept telephone calls for repeat prescriptions unless you are housebound. requests for repeat medication should be made in good time especially around bank holidays. please allow 48 hours for repeat prescription requests to be actioned. this is not a dispensing practice. housebound those patients that are housebound and are unable to make arrangements to have their re-order slip handed in may telephone their request for further medication. please ring the main surgery telephone number and ask to be put through to the prescritpion line – this is available after 10.00 am only. designed and developed by the nhs necs system & product development team copyright © 2011 - 2018 email: [email protected] about services staff how do i ?
